The past few days have been simply amazing! Since my books have arrived, it has been non-stop movement! I know this is just the beginning, but I love it! Shout outs to Lisa, Belinda, De'Angelo, Sean and Nick! Thank you all for supporting my book and embracing me while I was out and about promoting it!
For those of you that live in Charlotte, you can catch me at For Sisters Only @ the Merchandise Mart in the LiteraryCafe on April 14. I also have a book signing at Park Road Books in the Park Road Shopping Center on April 26 @ 5:30pm. I will keep you abreast of other signings as they come up.
I want to say this...This book is about an empowering mentality for me. I am interested in black men/boys first, black women/girls, and everybody else understanding who the black man is from my perspective. Of course, I am not a black man so I don't profess to speak as a black man, but I do believe that God has given me the ability to speak as a person with a vision. My vision proclaims victory, heirship and right place for the black man. Will it manifest as I envision it in my lifetime? Maybe, maybe not. That is irrelevant to me because I have no doubt it will. I have no doubt that it has not already been ordained.
