Reflections

Good morning my fellow readers. How are you all today? Well, I am knowing you are blessed, happy and whole, how's that? Cool! Today is my birthday, and I am so happy to be alive, healthy and joyous. I thank God for blessing me and my family. Sometimes we think everything has to be perfect before we feel blessed, well in the scheme of things all pretty much is perfect, but that is not the way they show up all the time. I view all of my challenges, obstacles, whatever you want to call them merely as opportunities.

I want to take this time to thank brother Ahmad for allowing me to present my poetry last night at his town hall meeting. Man did we show up full force last night! Thanks to all of you who supported me by picking up the book and or CD. I tell you that CD is hot! If you don't have yours you need to get a copy, it's going to make history, mark my words.

Well, I have an action packed agenda consisting of play for my big day so I must begin. Morning prayer, meditation, reading and walk beckon me. And hey ya'll...let's pull this thing called life together. We can all love each other and get what we want out of life. There does not have to be a thing called war, hate, fighting, etc. Love really does conquer all.

Take such good care of yourselves, smile at each other when you encounter one another and take a moment out of each day to commune with the Almighty; He is awesome!
