I want to say thank you to all the folk that purchased books at the New Bern Literary Festival in New Bern, NC last weekend. What a beautiful town you all have. I will surely get back to visit one day soon. I really appreciate all the kind words and your reception to my poetry. That Hunk of Black Man is the bomb isn't it! I love reciting, performing and interacting with that piece. It certainly is a friendly fun poem.
I will be opening a poetry/jazz cafe in the Charlotte area within the next year or so and I ask for all your prayers and positive thoughts on the creation of my vision. More details to follow. I will be heading to Harlem, my old stompin grounds this weekend for the Harlem Book Festival! Hope to see you there!
