It's My Birthday!!!

Well, not quite yet, but this is my birthday month! If you come and visit my site this month, please give me a shout out! I'd like to know you were here. And if you're so inclined, I'd love to get a Happy Birthday from ya. I love birthdays. It doesn't matter if it's mine or someone elses, I just think birthdays are so very special.

So I've been away for a minute, but wait till you hear what I've been doing... Finalizing my CD. It is done! Yeah! Finally! I can't wait for you all to hear it, it is the bomb. Shout out to Courtney Rice at Waxwun Productions! What a talented young man. Y'all he did me good, the beats are hot! He laid "Hunk of Black Man" out. So you should be able to get your copy of the CD in a few weeks from the website or from me as I am out and about promoting it. Got to do the legal stuff before I put it out there, you know how that goes.

I'm also getting ready to conduct my very first workshop called "Did You Know You Can Fly!" So what is this you ask...Well, I have people coming up to me all the time asking me how I do what I do, and I basically tell them you have to put yourself out there. Move past the fear and do it anyway. Sometimes I think we feel like we have to be at a certain point before we can pursue our dreams, but that ain't so. All it takes is getting out there and doing it. There is no magic formula folk. In this workshop I am going to challenge those who are brave enough to sign up to step outside their box and have some fun. Not take themselves too seriously and get silly. It should be fun, so if you're interested hit me up via email and I'll be happy to give you more details. The first workshop is going to be October 5 on the campus of Queens Univ of Charlotte. I have access to a stage and we are going to have fun!
