It's Friday!!!

Yippie! Livin for the weekend! Actually I don't live for the weekend, but I had that song in my head:)

My girl Pat and I had a blast last night hanging out with some fellow poets in Gastonia. What's up Cherri and Renee! Charlotte and the world, watch out for these two sistas! You talk about talent! What! They host a weekly poetry night on Thurs at a spot called Dino's in Gastonia. Shout out to the owner Ernie! Dino's remind me of a club my uncle used to own back in Brooklyn off of McDougal Street. One of those hole in the wall smoke-filled joints that used to rock Thursday through Sunday. Dino's actually had the basement that went all the way to the back and was filled with those old red and white chairs. Cool man! Felt like I stepped back in time last night. But I digress as usual! Cherri and Renee's program is televised on Cable Channel 21 on Tuesday nights at 11:30pm. So look for yours truly performing my signature piece "Hunk of Black Man."

Will be performing Saturday at For Sisters Only in Charlotte. Grateful to God for all the opportunities He's presenting and will continue to present.
